Introducing The New iPad

The Apple iPad is one of the best-selling tablets in the world, and The New iPad was one of the most anticipated devices from Apple this year. It is not called the iPad 3, it’s called “The New iPad”.

The all new High-Definition Retina Display is by far the highest definition ever seen on a tablet, at 2048×1536 pixels or 3.1 million pixels. According to Apple, existing apps will look great, and developers will be able to take advantage of the extra size.

The design is quite similar to the iPad 2. The new iPad is 662g, which is 61g heavier than the previous version. Most of you will not notice the extra 0.8mm, unless you have a skinny case.

The new iPad features the new Apple A5X processor with quad-core graphics, which is said to be 4 times faster than the nVidia Tegra 3. This is serious competition for upcoming Android tablets.

The new iPhoto App is a replacement for existing photo apps. It offers new ways to edit with multi-touching, high quality effects and more. iPhoto is also very good for everyday use, with great new browsing.

The new iPad features Apple’s 5-megapixel iSight camera. Designed with advanced optics, it lets you shoot gorgeous photos and 1080p HD video with video stabilization, auto face detection and auto focus lock.

The new iPad has Siri voice recognition input and navigation. The supported languages are English (British, American & Australian), French, German and Japanese.

The new iPad has 4G LTE. It comes with EV-DO (3.1 Mbps max.), HSPA+ (21 Mbps max.), dual carrier HSDPA (42 Mbps) and LTE (73 Mbps max.), making it all-round great at wireless connectivity.

Even with all that extra oomph, the new iPad still gets an amazing 10 hours of battery life.
